Putin warned the West about nuclear war
Photo: AFPRussian President Vladimir Putin has warned that there is a "real" risk of nuclear war if Western countries escalate tensions over the Ukraine conflict. He said that the weapons in Moscow's hands are capable of hitting Western countries.
Putin said these things in his address to the nation in Moscow today. Warning the West, he said, Russian troops are moving forward on the battlefield in Ukraine. If any country dares to send troops to Kiev's aid now, it will have 'sad consequences'.
